The B-head PT100 resistance thermometer is particularly suitable for those applications in which the metal PT100 sensor tip is mounted directly into bored holes (e.g. in machine components) or directly into the process for any application with no chemically aggressive media or abrasion. Insertion of the PT100 resistance thermometer without thermowell is only recommended in specific applications. When installed in aggressive or corrosive processes, you should make use of a thermowell.

Transmitter
The transmitter offers high accuracy and excellent protection against electromagnetic influences (EMI). The installed transmitters can be parameterised very easily, quickly and with a clear overview. Our specialists will set the transmitter setting range by during production. The temperature transmitter also has several supervisory functionalities, such as the monitoring of the sensor wire resistance and sensor-break detection in accordance with NAMUR NE89 as well as monitoring of the measuring range.
