Resistance thermometers

Pt100 Resistance thermometers, which are also referred to as pt100 temperature sensors, are used to measure the temperature of a medium. A pt100 is made up of a sensor housed in an insert which can be inserted into the process or medium of which the temperature needs to be measured. The temperature at the tip of the pt100 sensor will have a specific resistance which corresponds to a particular Ohm resistance. This Ohm resistance can be translated to a temperature in a linear fashion. That’s why pt100’s often referred to as resistance thermometers or RTD pt100’s. TUVO Instruments produces pt-100 resistance thermometers with various configurations, which can be chosen to suit your application.
