The Angled Pt100 Resistance Thermometer type PT-5 is particularly suitable for those applications in which the metal Pt100 sensor tip is mounted directly into bored holes (e.g. in machine components) or directly into the process for any application with no chemically aggressive media or abrasion. Insertion of the angled Pt100 resistance thermometer without thermowell is only recommended in specific applications. By usage of aggressive or non-stoppable process make use of a thermowell.
